Competition terms and conditions

These terms apply to the “Win a free weekend at Tawny Lodge” competition. By entering, you agree to them.

1. The promoters

The competition is run jointly by Easilets Property Management Services Ltd (company number 17392601), 30 Broughton Way, York, YO10 3BG (“Easilets”), and Easiescapes [company name and address] (“Easiescapes”), together “the promoters”, “we” or “us”.

2. Who can enter

• The competition is open to UK residents aged 18 or over.
• Employees of the promoters, their immediate families, the owner of Tawny Lodge and anyone else professionally connected with the competition can’t enter.
• We may ask the winner for proof of age, identity and UK residence before the prize is confirmed.

3. How to enter

Entry is free and no purchase is necessary. Fill in the entry form on the competition page with your name, email address and phone number. You can earn entries in these ways:

• Tell us on the entry form which pages you follow. Each page counts once per person.
• Joining the mailing lists is optional. You don’t have to sign up to enter.
• Sharing our posts is appreciated but never needed, and doesn’t earn extra entries.
• Only one entry form per person. Duplicate forms, entries made on someone else’s behalf, and bulk or automated entries are invalid.
• We may check that the winner follows the pages they told us about. Entries for follows we can’t confirm won’t count.

4. Closing date

The competition closes at 11:59pm (UK time) on Friday 18 December 2026. Entries received after this won’t be counted.

5. The prize

• One winner will receive a two-night stay at Tawny Lodge, Allerthorpe, near York, arriving Friday 8 January 2027 and leaving Sunday 10 January 2027. The dates are fixed and can’t be changed.
• The stay is for a maximum of 5 guests, including the winner.
• No animals are allowed.
• A refundable security deposit of £100 must be paid before arrival. It will be returned after the stay, less the cost of any damage, missing items or extra cleaning.
• The winner must not sell the prize or charge anyone else to stay.
• The prize covers the accommodation only. Travel, food and any extras are not included.
• There is no cash alternative. If the prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we may offer a stay of equal or greater value.
• All guests must follow the house rules and our standard guest terms.

6. Choosing the winner

• The winner will be drawn at random from all valid entries on Sunday 20 December 2026.
• We will contact the winner by email and phone. The winner must reply within 48 hours to accept the prize. If they don’t, we may draw another winner.
• Our decision on the winner is final.
• With the winner’s agreement, we may share their first name and county on our websites and social media.

7. Your information

• We use your details to run the competition, count your entries and contact the winner.
• We will only send you marketing emails or texts from Easilets and Easiescapes if you tick the sign-up box on the entry form. You can unsubscribe at any time.
• We never sell your details to anyone else.

8. General

• We may disqualify entries that break these terms or that we reasonably believe are fraudulent.
• We may change or cancel the competition if circumstances outside our control require it. We’ll tell entrants if we do.
• Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can’t be limited by law.
• This competition is not sponsored, endorsed or run by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram.
• These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
